For the second weekend in a row, I covered the Baltimore Breakers Lacrosse Club. In their last tournament of the sumer, the Breakers played extremely well, rallying from a 3-0 deficit to win 10-7.
On my way home from work today, I was reminded that always having your camera with you is definitely a good thing. Being the journalist that I am, I sent them out to all our local news stations and got a very fast and exciting response from our local ABC news station asking is they could run my photos online and possibly on air!!!
This past weekend, I covered the Baltimore Breakers Lacrosse Club's U13 & U15 teams at the Summer Sizzle tournament. They won all of the games that I was there for so I would say they had a pretty successful weekend. Check out the galleries tab for more photos from this weekend's action!
For the last 5 years, I have been volunteering at my church for the first week of July and taking photos of the kids from Paul's Place in downtown Baltimore. For the first time (ever apparently), it rained during camp, forcing us to improvise and move our activities indoors. Taking photos of kids is always difficult and the lack of light certainly did not make anything easier but I was extremely satisfied with my results.
