In a 52-24 rout of UAB, Vanderbilt somehow found a way to score too many touchdowns. I was running our Instagram feed using my eye-fi card from my camera and was unable to keep up with all of the touchdowns. I guess that's a good thing?
In an event very much like the Spotlight showcase from a few weeks back, The Athenian Honorary society sponsored Athenian Sing, an event featuring 13 prominent performing arts groups on campus. The event was in Langford Auditorium which I enjoy shooting in due to the variety of different colors of light that they are able to project onto the stage. The format of the show was a judged contest with the first, second, and third place winners receiving $1500, $1000, and $750 respectively for the charity of their choice.
Hosted by the Vanderbilt Speakers Committee, Your City: Nashville Stories featured four of the most prominent people in the city on one stage in the Student Life Center. For those who missed it, it was a very informative night covering topics ringing from musical composition to how to make biscuits with orange juice.
