Check out my essay on the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Team's win over Liberty 20-8
Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee - Nashville Sports Photography
Anytime Vanderbilt plays Tennessee, students and fans alike flock to the games. This was only the second time this season that Memorial Gym was even close to selling out finally giving a backdrop without open seats near the court. For these "high profile games" we are only given one pass rather than the usual two so shooting has a lot more pressure associated with it. I am really enjoying the 5D Mark III and I know that the extra frame rate played a significant factor in getting a few of my favorite shots from the game.
Barack Obama - Nashville Event Photography
I had the opportunity of a lifetime, covering a presidential address at McGavock High School in Nashville. Although waiting for 3 hours for him to arrive and give his speech was not my definition of a good time, seeing the government machine in motion and meeting White House photographers was definitely a highlight. I may not agree with many of his policies but he is still fun to photograph.

Vanderbilt vs. Missouri - Nashville Sports Photography
Huge win for a historically undermanned Vanderbilt team on their home court. There may have been more dunks in this game than I saw all of last season by Vanderbilt. I tried using the 300mm for most of the game and really enjoyed the challenge (as well as the arm workout).
