Great series sweep out of the 'Dores this weekend. They showed a lot of grit in games 2 and 3 against a good Illinois State team.
Big win for the 'Dores. For the first time since 2008, the team has started the season 3-0.
GOt to shoot the first two games of the season this weekend as Vanderbilt took on Santa Clara. The defense looked very good Friday with Carson Fulmer on the mound but trailed off later in the weekend for games two and three. A lot of early season mistakes from a fielding standpoint robbed the 'Dores of the series sweep due to a blown save in game two.
I cannot believe that it is already lacrosse season! Great win for our women's team over Kennessaw State 24-1. I don think I've ever seen as dominant a first half performance than this game. Pretty sure Kennessaw possessed the ball for less than a minute in the entire half.
