Marbella Day 1 - Travel Photography

I guess you could call this day 1 in Marbella even though we spend the largest portion of the day in either Barcelona, the airport, on a plane or in a car driving through the Andalucian countryside. For this reason, I only really have 2 photos to share but this weekend should include a trip to Gibraltar so there will be a nice opportunity to make up for lost ground in terms of volume of photos.

Barcelona Day 3 - Travel Photography

We spent most of the day today at La Sagrada Familia. Not really my taste in architecture on the 'Passion' side of the building (not much for cubism I guess) but it is so cool overall. I had not seen many photos taken of the inside before so I did not really know what I was getting myself into. It's also amazing that they are just 40% complete after 120 years yet expect to be finished by 2036. I'll believe it when I see it in 21 years I guess.

After dinner we went to see the Font Màgica de Montjuïc which absolutely blows the Bellagio in Vegas out of the water (yes that pun was intended). We fly south to Malaga and the southern coast in the morning so stay tuned for new adventures!

Barcelona Day 2 - Travel Photography

Day 2 in Barcelona saw visits to the Castell de Montjuïc, Catedral de Barcelona and a lot of metro rides (including the Teleferríc to Mountjouïc which was really cool).

Barcelona Day 1 - Travel Photography

Its been a while since I posted last but I think today's adventures in Barcelona warrant a post no matter how jet lagged I am. We spent a few hours walking around the city today and got to see some really awesome places including La Boqueria Mercat, the outside of one of the many Gaudí homes and the beach. More to come tomorrow!
